Yesterday we announced who our GO community endorsed in District 3 and District 7. Today we’re so excited to announce our District 1 and District 5 candidates!
It was inspiring to see over 200 of you over the last few weeks as we gathered on Zoom to interview candidates for the four school board seats that are up for election – this process is truly powered by community: Over 150 of those who attended are families of children in our public schools, and 40 are educators. Over 70% of interview participants identify as people of color, and 31 are primarily Spanish-speaking.
