About Our Organization

So long as Oakland’s highest-need students remain behind; so long as families struggle to support their children’s success; so long as our hard-working educators lack the support they need, we must be relentless in doing more — and doing better.

We are a coalition of Oaklanders: we are educators, families, and community members, dedicating to electing candidates and passing measures that put students, schools, and community needs first.

• Since 2012, nearly 450 community members have volunteered about 1,500 volunteer shifts to ensure that our public school system makes the positive, lasting changes we need for our schools and our students’ futures.
• Since 2017, more than 200 community members have made financial contributions to our work.
